Newt won't eat and has big belly

Help! Our newt has not eaten in about 2 weeks. His/her belly is getting bigger. He does not seem lethargic or anything. Still moving around and has grown in overall size. He is in a tank with community fish. The fish are not showing any negative signs. Any suggestions please!!!
